CZECH WEDDING

In Czech republic we have a habit, that people live with each othet for couple of years, before they get marry. The man gives his girlfriend a ring as a proof on his love.

|
|
|
Before they get marry, they have to decide the term, plays of ceremonie and celebration and that all led get writen in registry. With incoming D-day, there is still more, stress, the cakebeing cooked, muster all relative and friends
|
|
|
|
The wedding ceremony is “celebration moment.” Everyone comes together in the place of ceremony and wait on coming on bride, who is usually accompanied by her father.
|
|
|
|
The priest makes a wedding speech. After they say “yes” , they changing rings and kissing each other can be those two people called husband and wife. Everybody goes to congratulates them.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
After that begins the celebration. All people enjoy and dance in a party. Alcohol is being drunk and people eat some cakes or some pie.
All people are happy.
|
|
|
|
Partners are making their hostel. At first they arrange their house or flat, and after some time they start making a family. In our countries in usual to have from one to three kids.
|
|
|
Greek wedding
Every acquaintance should be there even if the up coming couple does´t know theme. In this matter is a hundred people called as little wedding.
|
|
Malaysia wedding
Eight hundred guests is nothing unusual. Alcohol isn´t being drunk. Men are taking care of cooking.
|
|
Jew wedding
Celebration takes seven days. Ceremony itself is running open-air. After the ceremony everybody shout “mekudešet” it is means married to him.
|
|
DRESSES
Bride wears long, usually, white dress.
Bridegroom has suit.
Guests are in social clothes.
|
|
|
FOOD AND DRINKS
To drink you can have the both – alcoholic and non–alcoholic drinks.
We offer one main menu. The tables are covered with plates of a small refreshment all the time. The desert can be a beautiful wedding cake and wedding candies.
The wedding couple can choose for their meal whatever they want. It depends only on their fantasy.

|
DECORATIONS
We decorate not only the house of wedding couple (fiancé´s and fiancée´s), but also the wedding transportation and the room where the wedding is.
Flowers are the part of decoration, too. Myrtle can be, for example, above the houses of wedding couple and on the jackets of wedding guests.

|
|
SPEECHES
Bride´s father has the very first speech, then continue bridegroom´s witness (or his best man).
Other guests can have a speech, too. But it´s not usual.
|
DANCING
Dancing is a part of each wedding. The first dance is dedicated to the newly–married couple only.
Guests can dance after the first dance.
|
|
|
|
|
TRANSPORTATION
Bride, bridegroom and guests use usually the cars. But there is a rule. Bride with bridegroom cannot go by the same car to their wedding. They have to use two cars. And these cars are decorated with flowers and white ribbons.

|
|
GUESTS
There can be a wedding only with witnesses, or bigger wedding with more invited people. But bigger wedding – with family, relatives and friends is much more common.
Number of guests is individual for each wedding.

PRESENTS
Wedding guests give the presents to the newly–married couple. And the bride gives a small gift to her bridegroom and vice versa.
Guests can give their gifts personally on the wedding day or they can send them to the houses of wedding couple a few weeks in advance.
Usually they give something to the household (dishes, electric appliances,…)

SYMBOLS
For wedding are typical small wedding candies in special shapes like horseshoes, rings, and other symbols of happiness, and of course wedding cake.
Another symbols which are used for weddings are white flowers, two rings bind together by a ribbon.

HONEYMOON
The most favourite place for the honeymoon is holiday in the see. But they can go to the mountains or simply to the place they like.

ORGANISING LIFE WHEN YOU HAVE CHILDREN,
ORGANISING THE FAMILY
Usually wife and husband work. When they have a newly–born child, wife is at home and takes care after the child. She takes a maternal vacation.
Father can be at home instead of mother, but it´s not common.

|
|
DATING
Before two people get married they're having dates. They're having dates because they want to
know each other better. On the first date, the're usually very nervous, cause they don't know if they
will appeal to each other. A place for the first date is usualy some teahouse, bar, restaurant, pizzea
parlour, sometimes they're going for a walk in a park, cinema or something like that.
After this, there are many similiar dates. The next important step is to present partner to his
or her parents. Sometimes it takes place by dinner or in not such a magnificently.
After a long time of being with each other they usualy move to common house or flat. In
most cases they know each other a lot because they have few years of being together after them.
After few years of living together they usualy get married.

|
CEREMONIES
Through together living are some important events which are being celebrated. Here belong a born
of the baby, which is one of most important family events. In some families there is a ceremony of
christening. It's christian habit, in which the baby is spilled by holy water and gets a second name.
Every year runs birthday celebrations of individual members of the family. They make a
celebration where other family members, acquaintances and sometimes friends which usualy shake
honorees hand and wish him good luck a health to his future life. There's usualy a junket where the
honoree gets cake with burning candels, which are supposed to show a persons age. Honoree blow
the candles off and in same time he thinks a wish for himself. After this the family gives honoree
presents. Some families also celebrate name-days, but in this time it's only informal celebration.
A huge party is usualy made for a member of family which reach the age of eighteen. From
this time furthure is this person responsible for himself, he can also get married, drink alkohol and
drive a car (of course only if he or she has his or her driving license).
From time to time there is party being made for succesfull finishing of university studies.
The ceremony itself is called promotion.

PARTY
In families are usualy lot of parties, where friends or neighbours broils on the garden. People have
fun, full stomach and bladder. Meetings like this are very pleasant. Broiling is in the last time very
fashion thing. Parties can be also made on some jubilees.
