Old people in Ireland like to socialise
An old person in Ireland is entitled to free travel, fuel allowance, free phone rental, eircom phone watch, units of electricityand pension. Some grandparents still live with one of their family members, while others go into nursing homes. The majority of elderly Irish people are not well educated because they were needed to work at home or go out to work to bring money home to help with the up keep of the family. The government did not give grants for education and people could not afford the fees. certain factors of Irish society see our old as vulnerable and prey on them. We respect our old people because they made sacrifices such as making do with what they had, having to give up on their dreams because they couldn't afford them.
